Brent Anderson

Brent Anderson is an Eisner Award-winning comic book artist best known as the co-creator of the long-running and critically acclaimed series "Astro City", alongside writer Kurt Busiek and cover artist Alex Ross. His work is celebrated for its expressive character work, rich storytelling, and grounded visual style that has helped define modern superhero comics.

 

Brent made his mark early in his career with Marvel Comics’ "Ka-Zar the Savage" and as the artist for the groundbreaking "X-Men: God Loves, Man Kills", widely considered one of the most influential graphic novels in the X-Men franchise. His body of work spans decades, including stints with DC Comics, Image Comics, and WildStorm, showcasing his versatility across genres and characters.

Known for his thoughtful approach to visual narrative and world-building, Brent continues to inspire both fans and emerging artists alike.

Lawrence & Diego Iriarte

Lawrence John and Diego Iriarte are a dynamic father-son duo in the comic book industry. Both graduates of the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, Lawrence is a seasoned educator, freelance film producer, and comic book artist with credits including The Matrix series, Venom 2, The Fabulous Filipino Brothers, and Lumpia with a Vengeance. He has also created storyboards and promotional art for DC and Marvel.

Diego began his comic career at just 15, quickly rising from assistant to cover artist, contributing interior layouts and illustrations. Together, they founded Iriarte Art Studio, producing titles for Kid Heroes Productions and 97toNow’s I See Sound Comics.

Their upcoming projects include Murphy’s Inc., Deebs, Fantastic Furious Fury Frog, Lighttrail, The Funtastic Worlds of Steamboat Willie, and Midgaard.

Chris Marrinan

Chris Marrinan is a veteran comic book artist whose dynamic pencils have brought to life some of the most iconic characters in comics. With a career spanning major publishers such as Marvel, DC, and Image Comics, Chris is known for his work on titles like "Wonder Woman," "Nova," "Doctor Strange," and "Excalibur".

His expressive artwork and kinetic style have made him a fan favorite, particularly during his memorable run on "Wonder Woman" in the early '90s, where he helped redefine the character for a new generation of readers. In addition to his mainstream work, Chris has also produced indie titles, including his creator-owned series "Ms. Fortune", showcasing his flair for humor and action-packed storytelling.

Chris brings a wealth of industry experience and artistic insight to every convention appearance.

JAMM the Artist

JAMM the Artist AKA Justin Metoyer Mullon, is an Illustrator, fine artist, and art instructor. A lifelong artist, he began drawing before he could read or write and assisted with his first mural at age 7.

Terror Dog Squad

The Terror Dog Squad is a high-energy, screen-accurate Ghostbusters cosplay group based in Sacramento, CA, dedicated to bringing movie magic to life—and using it to make a difference.

Formed in 2020, the group evolved from The Grid: A Cosplay Odyssey into the Terror Dog Squad, a not-for-profit fan organization committed to “cosplay with a purpose.” Known for their detailed props, film-inspired uniforms, and full-size gear—including proton packs, ghost traps, and even a screen-accurate Ecto-1—the squad makes regular appearances at comic cons, community events, parades, and charity fundraisers across the region.

Over the years, they’ve helped raise thousands of toys for Toys for Tots, partnered with local nonprofits, and inspired fans of all ages through interactive experiences and photo ops. Whether busting ghosts or raising spirits, the Terror Dog Squad brings heart, humor, and authenticity to every event they attend.

Figure X is the creative identity of Marenn Espiritu, a rising force in the world of designer toys and independent comics. Born in the Philippines and currently serving as an active-duty sailor in the U.S. Navy, Marenn began his artistic journey in 2021, quickly gaining recognition for his bold character designs and imaginative sculpting.

Inspired by the heroes and villains of his childhood, Figure X began as an illustrator, muralist, and comic artist before diving into hand-sculpting and digital 3D modeling. His passion for storytelling and design converged in a growing lineup of original creations—including the popular Skullcaps, Pandamonium, and Mushi Mosh series. He’s also known for crafting exclusive custom figures in collaboration with other comic artists and creators.

Through his brand Figure X, Marenn champions creative freedom, DIY artistry, and representation in pop culture. Whether through toys, prints, or comics, his work delivers fun, nostalgia, and a fearless love of fandom.

Alex De Luca

Alex De Luca is a multifaceted storyteller whose work spans comics, music, and audio production. Based in Northern California, Alex has established himself as a writer, letterer, composer, and audio engineer, bringing a unique blend of skills to his creative endeavors. He is the creator, writer, and letterer of the steampunk fantasy series Dragon Whisperer, published by Red 5 Comics. 

Alex's latest project, Enigmatown, is a cozy yet eerie graphic novel that intertwines themes of friendship, redemption, and the supernatural. Described as a cross between Toy Story, The Haunted Mansion, and Five Nights at Freddy's, the story follows three unlikely friends—Luzy, a 15-year-old girl; Frankie, a 90-year-old woman; and Joey, a ghost—as they confront the dark secrets of their hometown. 

Beyond his writing, Alex is known for his musical talents and has contributed to various independent comics as a letterer. He is also a dedicated family man, proudly embracing his roles as a husband and father. Alex's diverse background and passion for storytelling make him a distinctive voice in the world of comics.

Phillip Ginn

Phillip Ginn is a multitalented creator whose work spans the worlds of comics, illustration, music, and design. Based in the Bay Area, Phillip brings a bold, distinctive voice to the indie arts scene, known for his detailed black-and-white artwork and thoughtful storytelling.

With a lifelong love for comics and visual narrative, Phillip has contributed as an illustrator, cover artist, and letterer on a wide range of independent titles. His signature style blends whimsy and darkness, often exploring complex themes through expressive characters and lyrical prose.

Outside of comics, Phillip is a seasoned musician and educator. He has performed with various ensembles and spent nearly two decades teaching drumline and percussion. This musicality carries into his visual work, infusing it with rhythm and emotion.

Phillip is also the creative mind behind All The Ravens, a personal brand combining fine art and streetwear inspired by his signature raven motif and playful gothic sensibility.
